Judith M. Dyar Hile
Judith M. Dyar Hile, 78, of Marietta passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1946, in Marietta, a daughter of the late Robert M. Dyar and Laura E. Schneider Dyar.
Judy was a graduate of Marietta High School in 1964. She had worked at Bonham’s, Lane’s Fruit Farm, Wal-Mart and McHappy’s. She was a volunteer at Warren Elementary School, PTA and Boosters, an avid fan of OSU, Marietta College Pioneers, NASCAR, Green Bay and the Raiders. She just enjoyed sports, was a big chocolate fan and loved to bird watch.
On May 27, 1972, she married George A. Hile who preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by her daughter Angela (Adam Clevenger) Hile of Lubeck and grandson Andrew, sister Pamela (Bill) Beebe and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation and reception will be held at Christ United Methodist Church on Thursday (July 25) from 4:00 until 6:00 pm with a celebration of her life to be held at 6:00pm. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
