Marjorie Marie Mary Tullius Gutberlet Duff

Marjorie Marie Mary Tullius Gutberlet Duff, 94, of Marietta passed away August 27, 2024, at Waterview Pointe. Marjorie was born May 11, 1930, in Lowell, Ohio, the youngest of nine to Andrew W. and Dora Mae Gates Tullius.

She had many jobs and interests in her life, a beautician, cake decorator and tole painter for a few. She went to England to teach tole painting twice.

Marjorie married True Gutberlet (deceased 1989) on January 1, 1947. Together they had one daughter, Barbara Jean (deceased 1962) and one son Keith (Winnie). Also surviving are grandchildren, Jill Yarnell and Mitch Gutberlet (Renee), great grandchildren: Ashley (Josh Carroll), Andrew (Jackie Reynolds), Adam and Austin Yarnell, Angel (Matt Gaylor), Alexsandria (Stephen Sutton) and Zach Gutberlet, Asa and Asia Richards. One great-great grandson Easton Carroll. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the compassionate care they gave Marjorie.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday (Aug. 30) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral hone on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
