Wanda May Waite

Wanda May Waite, 85, passed away peacefully and entered Heaven’s gate on September 23, 2024 to see her blessed Savior face to face and all the loved ones who have gone before her. She was born on August 18, 1939. a daughter of the late Ivan and Ada Waite.

Wanda was a graduate of Bartlett High School and retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Company after 30 years of dedicated service. She loved country life, enjoyed bowling and her family that brought her great joy and happiness.

She is survived by her only son Jeff and wife Candy; grandchildren, Scott Waite (Adrian) of Columbus and Diedra Ann Lagasse (Jeff) of Marietta; great grandchildren: Trinity (Skyler) of Columbus, Tyler (Sandra) of Texas, Chelsea (Jordan) of Parkersburg and Noah (Madi) of Marietta; great-great grandchildren, Leo and Nyla of Texas. She was dearly loved by her son and his wife, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was most definitely everyone’s “Granny.”

A special thanks to all her caretakers and our loved ones, Sierra, Emily and to Gary Sampson for the love, caring and support he provided.

As her body was donated to science, no services will be had at this time. As per her wishes, her ashes will later be spread over her mother’s grave.
