Sara L. Armor

TOGETHER AGAIN

With heavy hearts, our mother, Sara L. Armor, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

She was born on March 4, 1927 to Floyd “Carmi” Carmichael and Bessie Cunningham Carmichael in St. Marys, WV.

On October 25, 1946, she married the love of her life, John D. Armor, Sr. and blessed to share 73 years together, 3 children John Jr. (Betty), Barb and Tammy (Earl Carpenter); 5 grandchildren: Tim, Toby, Traci (Mic Garrity), Bo (Ashley), Jeremee and 6 great grandchildren: Gage, Lake, Jax, Ella, Ethan, Nina.

During her career days, she worked for Remington Rand, Marietta College Library and retired from Marietta Municipal Court in 1994.

Thank you to the compassionate care provided by Amedisys Hospice, Emily and Amy, but most of all to her devoted caregivers for 5 years, Faye Pierpoint and Christa Pierpoint Primm. The exceptional care, love and friendship you provided to Mom was a comfort and you both have been a true blessing.
