Lola B. Tebay

Lola B. Tebay, 84, of Marietta passed away at 11:52 am, Monday, February 17, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

Lola was born on September 20, 1940 in Marietta a daughter of Delbert Jones and Norma Beck Jones. She had been employed as a LPN at Selby General Hospital for 49 years. Lola enjoyed the O’Neill Center and playing Bingo and Euchre. She was a member of the Women of the Moose. Lola loved her kids and grandkids.

On May 26, 1963, she married Robert Tebay who survives with 2 daughters and one son: Debbie (Gary) Fitzgerald, Julie Tebay, and Robbie (Ruth) Tebay all of Marietta; grandchildren: Ashley (Michael), Matthew (Jessie), Max, Scottie (Haley), Casey (Jansen), Caleb (Kristen), Joel, Sonny (Dara). Great Grandchildren: Emma and Kayden, Henry and Hudson, Valleigh, Vaida, Maddelynn, Hazel Grace, Eleanor and Oaklei and her brother Larry (Sandy) Jones of Canaan Valley, WV and her dog “Gidgit.”

The family would like to thank Harmar Place and the O’Neill Center for the compassionate care they gave Lola.

She is preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers Buck and Carl Jones and sister Betty Kinzer.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (Feb. 21) at 12:00 noon at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in Riverview Cemetery.
