Mary L. Gray

Mary L. Gray, 78, of Brant Drive, passed away 5:55 am Friday, October 17, 2008 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

She was born on January 5, 1930 to the late Clifford and Mae Smithberger Leasure.  Mary graduated from Marietta High School and later worked for Ohio Bell as an telephone operator.  She was a homemaker and had been a member of the Harmar Hill Church of Christ.

On September 24, 1949 she married Talmage Gray who survives with children Deborah (J.R. Smith) Cox of Richmond, KY, Alicia (Jim) Walls of Logan and T.J. (Natalie) Gray of Marietta.  Also surviving are grandchildren Dr. Teri Cox of Covington, KY, Keeper Gray, Ty Gray, Eli Gray, Emrie Gray all of Williamstown and Sadie Gray of Marietta. Her brother John Leasure of Scottsdale, AZ and sister Betty Burton of Marietta, also survive.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Monday, October 20th, at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Roger Rush officiating.  Entombment will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.  Friends may call from 2 pm Sunday until the hour of service, the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Sunday at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.mslfuneralhome.com.
