Brad Alan Lucas

Brad Alan Lucas, 43, of Marietta, passed away on Friday (Dec. 16, 2011) at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on Sept. 30, 1968, in Marietta, a son of Joe H. and Patricia J. Lucas. He was a graduate of Marietta High School in 1986 and Washington County Career Center. Brad was a jeweler and had worked at Leroy's Jewelers, Roger's Jewelry and Mel's Diamond House. He was a member of Post 64 Sons of American Legion and Washington County Fish and Game Club.

Brad is survived by his daughters, Audrey and Anna Lucas of Marietta; brother, Tyson (Julie) Lucas of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sisters, Melissa Lucas of Waverly, W.Va., and Shelly (James Theiss) Lucas of Marietta; grandmother, Mary Lucas Daniels of Caldwell; numerous aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayland H. Lucas; and grandparents, Orval and Ida Parks.
