Elizabeth Warden

Elizabeth Warden, 89, of Marietta, passed away at 8:20pm on Sunday, February 26, 2012, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.  She was born on February 17, 1923, in Marietta a daughter of Herbert and Pearl Miller Warden.  Before her retirement, she was employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital in the Insurance Department and was a member of Central Christian Church.

            Elizabeth is survived by one son and one daughter:  Bobbie Warden (Kayellen) of Racine, Ohio, and Shirley Offenberger Stotler (Donald) of Marietta; 8 grandchildren:  Doug Warden, Cindy Seymore, Lori Brinager, Brian Warden, Beth Clark, Michelle Carpenter, Renee Williamson, Tracy Oviatt, 19 great grandchildren, 13 great, great grandchildren and her sister Winifred Flowers of Williamstown.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, 7 brothers: Robert, Paul, Harold, Wilber, Corbett, Lowell, Ralph; 3 sisters:  Catherine Warden, Marie Offenberger, Mildred Schario, great granddaughter Stephanie Brooks and son-in-law Gary Offenberger.

            Funeral services will be held on Thursday (March 1) at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in East Lawn Memorial Park.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday after 6:00 pm with family present 6-8 and on Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8.
