Helen Virginia Eddy Nonnenmacher

Helen Virginia Eddy Nonnenmacher, 94, of Marietta, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at The Arbors of Marietta. She was born on September 1, 1917, in Parkersburg, WV, the daughter of Sanford M. and Clara Henthorn Eddy

She married Harold Nonnenmacher on September 30, 1939, in Cattlesburg, KY. He preceded her in death on July 9, 1986. She is survived by son Harold (Pete) Nonnenmacher, Jr. and his wife Marylin of Marietta, daughters, Virginia M. Dye and her husband Donald of Marietta and Dorothy E. Hollister and her husband Harold of Lowell, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by grandson, Michael Hollister, brother Dale Eddy and sister Lucille Miller.

Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Thursday evening (March 1) from 6-8. Graveside services will be Friday at 11:00 am at Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Gene Ferrell officiating.
