Hazel G. Hasley
Hazel G. Hasley, 90, of Marietta, passed away at 11:00 am on Friday, March 23, 2012, at The Willows Center in Parkersburg. She was born on March 21, 1922, in Washington County, Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Blanche Shook Masters. Hazel had been employed by Community Action, and for 69 years was a member of Hills United Methodist Church and was a member of the Women’s Society of the church.
On June 19, 1942, she married Richard Hasley who preceded her in death on March 31, 1982.
She is survived by 2 sons and 2 daughters: Roger (Barbara) Hasley of Marietta, Reverend Richard (Janice) Hasley of Cadiz, Ohio, Bonnie (Jim) Dennis of Parkersburg, Linda (Dave) Martin of Aztec, NM, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Dale (Joanne) Masters of Marietta, brother-in-law Gene (Marge) Hasley of Kerrville, TX, sister-in-law Margaret Masters of Marietta.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Ernest Masters.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (Mar. 27) at 9:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Reverend Richard Hasley officiating. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday afternoon after 2:00 with family present from 2-4 & 6-8. Memorial donations may be made to the Alms Box at Hills United Methodist Church, 55 Zion Ridge Road, Marietta, OH 45750.
