Violet R. Antill
Violet R. Antill, 90, of Reno, passed away at 9:05 am on Monday, April 2, 2012, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
She was born on April 7, 1921, at Dart, Ohio, a daughter of Harry C. and Laura M. Greathouse Farley. She was a homemaker and a 46 year member of Eddy’s Ridge Church. On December 16, 1942, she married Darrell McKinley Antill, Sr. who preceded her in death on May 8, 2000.
Violet is survived by one son and one daughter: Darrell (Debbie) Antill, Jr. of Reno and Betty Lou Beha of Parkersburg; 6 grandchildren: Rhonda Cross of Belpre, Regina Cronin of Newport, Ronnie Cronin of Mineral Wells, Darliss Gaskins of Marietta, Teri Zambrano of Florida, Wesley Antill of Reno, 14 great grandchildren, 5, great, great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, Hilma Biehl of Marietta and Marie Farley of New Matamoras and one aunt, Faye Farley Bloomfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, Wayne Farley and Clarence Farley.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (April 4) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Evangelist Delbert Westbrook officiating. Burial will follow in Eddy’s Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 4 until 8.
