Olive Luella Porter

Olive Luella Porter, 89, of Marietta went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 27, 2012.

She was married to the late Ernest Porter for 59 years. Mom loved camping, picnics, traveling, reading, bingo, watching survivor, family game nights and attending church.

Surviving are their five children, Susan (Don) Brown, Terry Porter, Tom (Teresa) Porter, Mick (Missy) Porter and Patti (Gary) Wilson, 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. A memorial service will be held on Saturday (May 5) at 11:00 am at Pinehurst Christian Church on State Route 550 with Dennis Frary officiating. . Family will greet friends one hour before the service. McClure-Schafer-Lankford funeral Home is assisting the family.
