William Christian Stark
William Christian Stark, 79, of Whipple, passed away at 9:35 am on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. He was born on March 28, 1933, in Washington County, Ohio, a son of Virgil and Myrtle Morgenstern Stark. He was employed as a truck driver and welder and retired from Skuttle Manufacturing Co.. He was a member of Souls Harbor Baptist Church and enjoyed camping and yard sales.
On July 21, 1952, he married Norma Jean Morgenstern Stark who preceded him in death on August 29, 2004. Surviving is one son, James William (Mary) Stark of Marietta, 4 daughters: Faye Louise (Dean) Wolfert of Whipple, Becky Jean (Hank) McNabb of Lowell, Debbie Lynn (Roger) Miller of Whipple, Melissa Dawn (Craig) Barth of Lowell; 15 grandchildren:
Scott Wolfert, Jamie Kutscherenko, Stephanie Wellard, Sarah Camp, Nicole Brown, Jared Perry, Jake McNabb, Brandi Miller; Kelsie, Kassidie, Darian, Kylie, Dylan, Kaylie, and Khloie Barth; 12 great grandchildren; 4 brothers and 1 sister.
On June 18, 2009, he married Billie Burdette who survives with 2 stepdaughters: Sherry (Dan) Brooker of Beverly and Regina (Edward) Moore of Beverly and 6 stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Norma, granddaughter Karissa, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Oct. 27) at 10:30 am at Souls Harbor Baptist Church with Pastor Robert Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Township Cemetery.
