Grace I. Haas

Grace I. Haas, 82, of Marietta, passed away unexpectedly at 11:11pm Saturday, December 1, 2012. She was born on December 31, 1929, in Newport a daughter of Ira and Della Hutchison Williamson. Grace had been employed as a secretary for Oakmar Oil Company, was a member of Professional Secretary’s Association, life member of VFW Auxiliary and attended the Sixth and Washington Street Church of Christ.

On October 24, 1948, she married Edward A. Haas who preceded her in death on December 10, 1986.

Two sons survive: Bruce Edward (Mikki) Haas of Marietta and Steven Ray (Kelly) Haas of Waterford; 2 grandchildren: Adam Lucas Haas and Grace Christine Haas.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, 3 sisters and 1 brother: Buena Story, Mabel Rouse, Bernard Williamson, Ruth Rider.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Dec. 5) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Lloyd Westbrook officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
