Richard A. Pritchett
Richard A. Pritchett, Sr., 67, of Palmer Square passed away at his home Saturday, December 8, 2012 after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Richard was born in Newport on May 15, 1945 to Edwin and Ethel (Davis) Pritchett. He served in the U.S. Military during the Vietnam Era and was stationed in France. Richard was an avid woodworker and enjoyed the outdoors, camping and spending time with his family especially his 5 grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Virginia (Sunderman) Pritchett, 3 sons Richard Jr., and Joseph Pritchett both of Palmer Square and Aaron Pritchett of Jackson, MI.
In addition to his parents, 2 brothers Alfred and Robert and a sister Thelma Southall preceded Richard in death.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Wednesday, December 12th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Reverend Helen Kline. Burial will follow in Gard Cemetery in Palmer Square.
