James Warren Skidmore

James Warren Skidmore, 74, of Marietta passed away at 9:20 am on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at his home. He was born on November 5, 1938, in Marietta a son of Lawrence P. and Garnet Warren Skidmore.

Jim graduated from Marietta High School in 1957. He served 6 years in the U. S. Air Force and 2 years in the army reserve. He worked for several car dealers in the area until his retirement. Jim enjoyed fishing, was a member of Harmar Masonic Lodge #390, Alladin Temple, and American Legion. He loved his family.

On July 19, 1963, he married Alice Skidmore who survives with their son James D. Skidmore (Marni Sabin) who resides in Brooklyn, NY.

At the request of the family there will be no services. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.mslfuneralhome.com.
