Blanche Louise Hart

Blanche Louise Hart, 84, of Marietta, passed away January 1, 2013 at Heartland of Marietta.

She was born July 3, 1928 in Marietta to Thomas C. and Molly (Myers) Parsons.  Blanche had graduated from Marietta High School and had been employed at the Talley-Ho Restaurant for many years working in the Kitchen as well as a waitress.  She was also a member of the VFW Post 5108 Ladies Auxiliary.

On November 7, 1972 she was married to Emmett E. Hart who passed away July 20, 1989.
 
Surviving are her children Bob Hasley Jr., Judy Hearn and Carolyn Sue Hornsby all of Marietta.   Also surviving are grandchildren Della Mae Lewis (Nelson), Christine L. Carpenter, Ronald D. Hornsby (Alisse), Larry Hearn, Joann Walters, Makalie Hasley, Jennifer Hasley, Shelly Carpenter, and Ronald D Carpenter, Jr.; along with great grandchildren Shawn Carpenter, Nathan Cline, Courtney Lamp (Chad Sr.), Jed and Alexie, Aiden Hasley, Alexis Gottfried, Abby, Britney, Brett, Levi, Georgia, Ashley, Alicia, and Christen and great great grandchildren Chad Lamp, Jr., Chloe Lamp, Kayle, Austin, Jordan and 3 great great grandsons.  Stepbrothers Chet and Gerald Hasley and her care giver Lucy and her daughter Katie Yoho and also survive.
 
In addition to her parents and husband Blanche was preceded in death by a son Ronald D. Carpenter, 3 sisters and a brother.
 
Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday January 7th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Stevens officiating.  Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.  The family will greet friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Sunday.  Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.lankfordfh.com.
