Emidio Spaziani

Emidio Spaziani, 81, of Marietta passed away 6:45 pm, Thursday, July 25, 2013, at the Arbors at Marietta.  He was born on January 28, 1932, a son of Emidio Spaziani, Sr. and Lula Tond Spaziani. 

Emidio was a graduate of Toronto High School and received an Electrical Engineering Degree from Franciscan University.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had been employed by Crucible Steel and Kardex.  He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

He was married to Helen (Ellen) Spaziani who preceded him in death on February 26, 2009.

Surviving Emidio are his children Maria Jacobs (Michael) of Marietta, Thomas E. Spaziani (Angela) of Franklinville, NC and Peter A. Spaziani (Beth) of Marietta, and grandchildren Asa Spaziani, and Emilia and Elayna Jacobs.

In addition to his parents and his wife he was preceded in death by his brother Andrew.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 29th at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption in Marietta with Msgr. John Michael Campbell as Celebrant, burial to follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
