    Lola B. Tebay, 84, of Marietta passed away at 11:52 am, Monday, February 17, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    Lola was born on September 20, 1940 in Marietta a daughter of Delbert Jones and Norma Beck Jones. She had been employed as a LPN at Selby General Hospital for 49 years. Lola enjoyed the O’Neill Center and playing Bingo and Euchre. She was a member of the Women of the Moose. Lola loved her kids and grandkids.

  • Sara L. Armor

    TOGETHER AGAIN
    With heavy hearts, our mother, Sara L. Armor, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
    She was born on March 4, 1927 to Floyd “Carmi” Carmichael and Bessie Cunningham Carmichael in St. Marys, WV.
    On October 25, 1946, she married the love of her life, John D. Armor, Sr. and blessed to share 73 years together, 3 children John Jr. (Betty), Barb and Tammy (Earl Carpenter); 5 grandchildren: Tim, Toby, Traci (Mic Garrity), Bo (Ashley), Jeremee and 6 great grandchildren: Gage, Lake, Jax, Ella, Ethan, Nina.
    During her career days, she worked for Remington Rand, Marietta College Library and retired from Marietta Municipal Court in 1994.

  • Denis (Denny) D. Boggs

    Denis (Denny) D. Boggs, 90, of Marietta, OH passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    Denny was born on January 10, 1935, near Spencer in Roane County, WV to William Garnet and Una (Williams) Boggs. A 1952 graduate of Spencer High School, Denny went on to graduate from West Virginia Wesleyan, University of Southern California (USC) and Claremont Graduate School, teaching elementary school for 27 years in the Los Angeles area.

  • Robert “Bob” Heinlein

    Robert “Bob” Heinlein, 84, of Marietta passed away at 5:20 am, Thursday, Feb. 6, 2024, at Arcadia Valley Nursing Home in Coolville, OH.
    Bob was born to Della and Lester Wilson and was adopted and raised by Edna and Philip Heinlein in Hamilton, OH. He married his beloved wife Sandra Lou (Sandy) Nicholson on October 12, 1974 in Ohio.   Bob worked many years in construction running an excavator. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, loved Mel McDaniel and camping. He enjoyed spending time at the Sternwheel Festival, Riverfront Roar and Washington County Fair.

    He was born on August 6, 1940, in Parkersburg a son of Homer and Sybil Scarberry Dailey. He had been employed at G.E. Plastics, retiring after 45 years.

    Robert W. Almond, 83, of Chester, Ohio, passed away at 11:35am, Monday, February 3, 2025 at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens, OH.
    He was born September 22, 1941 in Marietta to Wesley Almond and Catherine Offenberger Almond. He was a graduate of Williamstown High School and had worked as a printer for Richardson Printing.

    Norman E. “Joe” Blauser, 84, of Marietta passed away at 6:06 pm., Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born April 15, 1940, in Oil City Pennsylvania a son of Sidney Blauser and Francis Felmlee Blauser.
    Norm had worked in construction and was a drywaller. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being out of doors.
