    William E. Jones, 81, of New Matamoras passed away at 2:06 pm, Saturday, December 12, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    He was born on June 1, 1939 in Ephrath, KY, a son of Arvid Jerome and Lavernia Stacy Jones. He was self-employed in Trucking and with used car sales. He was a member of Harmony Hill Baptist church.

  • August “Dean” Hoffart

    August “Dean” Hoffart passed away on Friday, December 11 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 14, 1928 at his home in Caywood, Ohio to August and Nora Berg Hoffart. Dean had seven sisters and one brother.
    He graduated from Marietta High School in 1946.

  • Fon Glenn Coffman

    Fon Glenn Coffman, 92, of Marietta, Ohio, died Thursday, December 10, 2020,at Elmcroft in Reno after a brief battle with COVID.
    She was born on April 19, 1928 to Rev. R. A. Hutson and Mabel Roark Hutson in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She graduated Union High School in 1946 and married Kenneth H. Coffman in July of that year. Fon was a homemaker for many years and was active in Girl Scouts and band boosters with her daughters.

  • Robert H. “Pork” Greathouse

    Robert H. “Pork” Greathouse, 74, of Marietta passed away at 1:40 am, Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
    He was born June 22, 1946, in Marietta a son of Raymond Greathouse and Lola Thrasher. He was a retired security guard. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of VFW Post 5108 and DAV.

    Jacqueline S “Jackie” Buzzard, 67, of Williamstown passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    She was born on September 23, 1953, in Marietta a daughter of John and Gwendolyn Ruby Joy Knuefener. Jackie was a graduate of Williamstown High School, Class of 1972 and like to sew and work puzzles.

    He was born on November 22, 1955, in Marietta a son of the late Carlos “Shorty” and Nellie “Betty” Gooden Graham. Dave worked for more than 25 years for R. O. Wetz Transportation.

  • Linda Morgan Spicer

    Linda Morgan Spicer went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2020 after a long battle with cancer. She was from Pennsboro, WV where she went to high school.
    She went to PCC to get her EMT license to volunteer with the Pennsboro Emergency Squad for several years. Then her family moved to Williamstown, and she went to work at Selby General Hospital as a physical therapy assistant for several years. Linda had been a foster parent with Try-Again Homes and had kept in contact with a number of the children over the years.
