Paul “Butch” W. Lones, 64, of Marietta passed away at his home on December 5, 2020.
He was born September 1, 1956 in Marietta to the late Carolyn Maye Lones. Butch was a Marietta High School graduate and in 1973 he joined the US Army and served until he was honorably discharged in 1984. After he returned back to Marietta he worked for Cole’s Firestone for many years. Butch was a member of the Williamstown American Legion post 159 and Marietta VFW Post 5108 where he served many years on the funeral Honor Guard providing many veterans final military rites.
Grace K. Martin, 82, of Marietta passed away at 8:55 pm. Saturday, December 5, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital
Grace was born on February 20, 1938, in Marietta a daughter of Arthur A. Martin and Mildred Stark Martin. She had retired from Hart’s Family Center after 20 years of service.
Katie “Kate” Eileen Drayer passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 43. She was a 1995 graduate of Marietta High School and the Washington County Career Center. She was also a 1999 graduate of Marietta College, where she studied Fine Arts and began to follow her passion for painting and creating unique gifts for her family and friends. She particularly enjoyed making hand-painted toys for her grandchildren and great-nieces and -nephews.

Ruth worked as a secretary in the Marietta Probate Court office for many years until her retirement.
After retirement, Ruth led a full and complete life on the family farm enjoying her garden, canning, her chickens, dogs and cows. She especially loved spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Skip Ventosa, 58, passed away at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, West Virginia, on Thursday, December 3, 2020, surrounded by his family. He was born October 2, 1962 in Key West, Florida. In 1981, he married his high-school sweetheart, Tammy Jeffries.
He was an avid movie watcher, a fan of classic rock and an animal lover, but was most well-known for his love of the Raiders football team. He enjoyed time with his family, especially with his granddaughter Kyrie. Skip was also a member of the United States Air Force, having been honorably discharged in 1980.
Kathy L. Wagner, 73, of Marietta, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. She was born on June 28, 1947, in Washington County, Ohio, a daughter of Walter and Leora Berg Dennis.
Kathy graduated from Salem Liberty High School. She enjoyed gardening.
Deborah Sue Morrison, 66, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away Monday, November 30, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Debbie had an incredible love for all animals, especially her fur babies Sophie, Ruby, and George. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Morrison, her son, Charles, nephew Michael Francis, parents Cyril and Betty Wilson, and sister-in-laws Ernestine Francis and Patricia Liston.
