  • Vicki Borman

    Vicki Borman, 65, of Marietta passed away July 7, 2020 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born November 15, 1954, in Marietta a daughter of Jerry and Mary Taylor Borman.
    Vicki was a graduate from Marietta High School and received her Associate Degree for Medical Assistant from WVUP. She was employed by Marietta Community Action for 29 years where she was in family planning. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and was a kind-hearted, caring soul who loved company.

  • Donna Jeanne Biedenbach

    Donna Jeanne Biedenbach, 92, formally of Marietta passed away July 4, 2020 in Memphis, TN.
    She was born June 3, 1928 in Parkersburg, WV to Harry Russel and Roxy Hazel (Brown) Tebay. Donna grew up in Marietta Ohio, graduated from Marietta high school, then moved to Columbus where she worked as a switchboard operator at AT&T. While in Columbus, she met John Louis Biedenbach and they were married on June 3, 1960, after he graduated from Ohio State University. The couple moved to Racine, WI where Donna gave birth to her son Michael. They moved to Pittsburgh five years later where she gave birth to her daughter Amy. In the mid 70s they settled at Trenton, MI. Donna was a homemaker and for many years in the late 80s/90s Donna worked at and was assistant manager of a local Hallmark store. In 2014 Donna was moved to Georgia so that her daughter could care for her. She was diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. Eventually Donna moved to Memphis, TN with her daughter, where she lived in Memory Care at Carriage Court.

    Melissa J. Treadway, 55, of Marietta passed away at 5:30 am, Friday, July 3, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    She was born on March 25, 1965, in Marietta the daughter of the late John and Sue Lang Newlon. Melissa was employed at Peoples Bank in the Investment Services Department. She was active supporter of Boy Scouts of America Local Troop 216.

  • Helen M. Flowers

    Helen M. Flowers, 71, of Marietta passed away at 1:31pm, Friday, July 3, 2020, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    She was born on October 10, 1948, in Greenfield, OH, a daughter of William and Mary Jane Walker Nixon. She was a homemaker.
    Helen married Mickey McNelly who preceded her in death. She later married Danny Flowers who survives. She is also survived by 3 sons: Mark (Linda) Lansing of Newport, Michael Paul Marshall of Marietta, Steven Marshall of Williamstown; granddaughter, Mandy Marshall and 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

    On June 21, 2020, Joanne Martin of Williamstown, went to be with the Lord and her husband Tony Martin.
    She is survived by her children: Dale Martin, Stephen Martin and Kimberly (Mark) Shaffer, god-daughter Faith Eddy, adopted daughter Heather Beckett and also 15 grandchildren and several special grandchildren.

    Michael Eric Hoffert, 38, of Marietta passed away suddenly June 20, 2020 in Edison, NJ, where he was working.
    He was born December 12, 1982 in Fayetteville, NC and had worked for EDRPRO Installers.  He is survived by his mother Carolyn Hoffert, father Ron Hoffert (Sue), a brother Brandon Hoffert and his sons Kale and Brant Morrow of McConnelsville.
