    Lisa Dobbins-Rea, 49, passed away peacefully in her home on April 3, 2025.
    Lisa was known for being a loving, hardworking mother, poopoo, and best friend. She never knew a stranger and was always the life of the party. She always put everyone’s needs before her own. You would find her cooking at Lowell Elementary by day and bartending the Whipple by night where everyone knew and loved her.

    Debra D. “Debbie” Brockmeier, 70, of Marietta passed away at 7:40 pm. Tuesday, April 1, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born May 24, 1954, in Dunbar, WV, a daughter of the late Howard Bean and Clara Edwards of Hundred, WV.
    Debbie had been employed at Selby General Hospital and Regional Collection Services. She was a member of The Church of Christ.

  • Naomi Elaine Green

    Naomi Elaine Green, 91, of Marietta passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Waterview Pointe after a brief illness.
    She was born on August 21, 1933, in Marietta a daughter of Charles Brady Treadway and Altha Opal Templeton Treadway. Naomi was a 1951 graduate of Marietta High School and first worked for Broughton’s Food and later was an operator for Ohio Bell Telephone. After meeting her husband at the phone company, she retired to raise her family. She loved Tole painting, bowling and gardening, especially flowers. She was a member of American Legion Post 64 Auxiliary, and CCL where she formed life-long friends. She was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

    Bonnie A. Billiter, 72, of Lower Salem passed away at 5:45 pm, Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born January 17, 1953 in Marietta a daughter of Dean Stark and Hazel Holland Stark. She was employed by Glenwood Retirement Community.

    William L. “Bill” Burton, 78, of Marietta passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

  • Lucinda “Cindy” L. Hartshorn

    Lucinda “Cindy” L. Hartshorn, 67, of Newport passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease on March 26, 2025 at Harmar Place. She was born in Marietta on November 11, 1957 to the late Daniel Edward and Doris Imojean (Berga) Baker.
    She had obtained her GED and worked at Heartland of Marietta for over 25 years in the dietary department. Cindy was a big cat lover. She enjoyed doing crafts, coloring books, being outside and Bingo. She loved to cook and make special meals for her family for special days. Cindy especially enjoyed getting her family together for Thanksgiving. She loved her grandkids and was always happy to see you and find out what was going on in your life.

  • Leah Wunderlich Grimm

    Leah Wunderlich Grimm, 100, of Marietta, Ohio, went to her Heavenly Home March 24, 2025.
    Leah was born May 12, 1924, at Warner, Ohio, to Herman W. and Viola Wagner Wunderlich. She graduated from Salem Liberty High School in 1942. Among other employment, she worked for the law firm of Theisen, Brock, Frye and Leeper for around 25 years. She was active in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and helped with water safety programs in schools in the area. Other organizations she belonged to included AARP, and was active in their Tax-Aide Program; Washington County RSV and Marietta Senior Club. She was a member of the Tunnel United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Sunday School Class and served on many committees.
