  • Earl H. Schramm

    Earl H. Schramm, 97, of Marietta passed away November 20, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    He was born May 20, 1925 to Franklin Earl and Rosanna (Hayes) Schramm. Earl was a 1942 graduate of Macksburg High School and after graduation served in the US Army Air Corp from 1943 to 1945. After his service he worked for B.F. Goodrich before his retirement after 38 years. Earl was a faithful member of the 6th and Washington Street Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon, elder and bible school teacher.
    On March 26, 1945 he married Thelma Jean Ullman who preceded him in death on June 30, 2011.

  • Teddy “Ted” Leroy Henthorn

    Teddy “Ted” Leroy Henton, of Marietta went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 20, 2022. He will be missed by his children Krystal Henthorn, and special son Justice Deems. Also surviving are several brothers and sisters. He will be greeted in Glory by his father Ralph Henthorn and mother Frances Parker Braverman.
    Ted was employed by Pioneer Pipe.

  • Alan D. Coppock

    Alan D Coppock, 67, of Marietta passed away on the morning of Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    He was born on November 16, 1955, in Washington Court House, Ohio to the late Charles “Dave” and Ruth “Pat” (Creamer) Coppock.
    Alan was the quarterback of the undefeated state champions, the Washington Court House Blue Lions, in 1973. In 1992 he was inducted into the Washington High School Hall of Fame.

  • Delbert W. Christopher

    Delbert W. “Doc” Christopher, 75 of Belpre passed away at 8:27 pm, Thursday (Nov. 17) at Belpre Emergency Room. He was born on December 2, 1946 in Washington County, Ohio to Kenneth and Dorothy White Christopher.
    He had been employed at B. F. Goodrich and was a member of Light House Baptist Church.

  • Larry D. Boice

    Larry D. Boice, 82, of Marietta passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in his home, surrounded by his family. Larry was born on April 14, 1940, in Rainbow to the late Gilbert Francis Boice and Allie Pearl Bell.
    On December 2, 1960, Larry married Janet Marie Robinson in the Warren Chapel in Warren, OH, and remained so for the rest of his life.

  • David L. Kehl

    David L. Kehl, 58, of Lower Salem passed away at 7:15 pm, Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    He was born on June 9, 1964 in Marietta a son of Lloyd and Glenda Tewanger Kehl. Dave was a farmer and he and his sons owned and operated Kehl Oil & Gas Enterprises. He was a member of the Creighton Ridge Church of Christ and the Masonic Lodge.

  • Lenora Virginia “Nora” Russell

    Lenora (Nora) Virginia Russell, 94, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away on November 13, 2022. Lenora was born to parents Charles and Susie (Bond) Williams, on September 3, 1928 in Clarksburg, West Virginia.
    She graduated from Unidis High School in 1946 and went on to study Education at Salem College. Lenora worked as teacher in Williamstown, WV where she met James Riley Russell in 1952. They were married on December 12, 1953. For the next 58 years they lived in Williamstown where together they ran Russell Electric, she enjoyed and provided childcare for many working families and raised their 2 children: Susan Cain (Carlos) Sanchez, Thomas (Karen) Russell.
