Gerald A. Erb, 76, of Reno passed away at 7:02 am, Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born February 27, 1945, in Marietta to Ruben Phillip D. Erb and Letty Marie James Erb. Gerald was retired from Laborers Union #639.
Carolyn Lois Lee, 97, of Marietta passed away at 8:34 am, Thursday, October 21, 2021, at The Inn at Summit Trail in Columbus, OH. She was born December 10, 1923, in Zanesville to Martin L. and Grace Earich Young.
Carolyn had been employed as a Deputy Auditor for Washington County. She was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church. Carolyn was an avid quilter. If anyone has one of her quilts, the family would appreciate it if you would bring it to the service for display. She enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carolyn enjoyed all sports, especially bowling and playing ping-pong.
Clara Ruth Freeland Burge, 86, died peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on October 21, 2021.
She was born March 16, 1935, the daughter of the late George Lester and Ethel Remmy Freeland. She was raised in the Children’s Home and then went on to be a Candy-Striper at the old Selby General Hospital. She later worked in home health.
Martha G. Theobald, 71, of Reno passed away at 10:00 pm. Thursday, October 21 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital Belpre Branch.
She was born August 24, 1950, in Zanesville, OH, a daughter of Alvie and Myrtle Corrothers Thompson. Martha was a member of Lawrence Baptist Church. She enjoyed visiting with friends and loved spoiling her grandchildren.
Sharon K. Gibbs, 56, of Marietta passed away at 2:45 am, Monday, October 18, 2021 at Selby General Hospital.
She was born in Marietta on November 17, 1964 a daughter of Glen and Shirley Johnson Cline.
Tammy Sue Mills Westfall, 45, of Williamstown, WV, passed away at 5:30 pm. Saturday, October 16, 2021, at her home.
Tammy was born November 16, 1975, in Cambridge, OH, a daughter of Richard Mills (Marie) of Caldwell and the late Norma Anderson Mills. She was employed as a Rural Mail Carrier.
Jack Denver Casto, 84, of Marietta passed away at 3:55 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Waterview Pointe. He was born on April 8, 1937 a son of Nadine Casto Brown.
He retired from RJF International. Jack and Rose were awarded “Joined Hearts in Giving” Award given by The State of Ohio. Jack was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He was a member of #9 Community Church, VFW Post 5108 and Salisbury American Legion. He was a family man.
