  • Sheila “Diane” Gore

    Sheila “Diane” Gore 54, of Cemetery Drive, New Matamoras changed her address to be with the Lord on Friday November 5, 2021, at her home.
    She was born on January 30, 1967, in Washington County, Ohio to James and Shirley (Erb) Williams. She worked in health care for many years. Then in 2005, she received her CDL’s. This was one of her great accomplishments. She loved driving truck and seeing the world. The last several years, she has worked locally. Her last ride was with RAS Texan Transportation, LLC. Diane enjoyed working for them and was excited to help with growing their company.
    Diane’s pride and joy were her grandkids and her family. She always made sure her family was taken care of. She loved crafts and baking. A family favorite from her will always be cheesecake, no bake cookies and Rice Krispies with sprinkles. Diane’s house was her favorite place to be. She loved decorating her house and yard, this was always a happy time for her. Diane loved doing her hair and never had a hair out of place.

    Michael Alan Oliver, 64, passed away November 4th, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    Mike was born April 26, 1957 in Marietta, OH to Robert F. Oliver Sr. and Patricia Antill. He graduated from Frontier High School in 1976. Mike retired from Ames of Dexter City. He loved his pets, fishing, hunting, dirt track racing, and telling stories.

    James D. Bertram, 87 of Marietta passed away at 12:14 pm, Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    He was born in Marietta on February 23, 1934, the son of Clyde and Gertrude Bertram.  Jim had been employed as a Project Engineer by A T & T. He was a member of Civitan Club.

    Norma J. Morgan, 78, of Marietta passed away at 3:20 pm, Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
    She was born September 22, 1943, in Williamstown, WV, a daughter of Brasky and Bertha Opal McIntire Casto.
    Norma retired from Harmar Place where she was a nursing assistant. She loved to read Louis L’Amour books and crochet.

  • Lewis Arthur Bohl

    Louie Bohl, 82, of Fleming, OH, met his Savior on October 30, 2021. Louie was born September 7, 1939. He was a son of the late William Lester Bohl and Eleanor Miller Bohl.
    Louie worked 26 years for Globe of Beverly, Ohio and was a bus driver for Warren Local School District for 15 years. Louie owned his own Backhoe and Dozer business for 1986 to 2021.

    Rosalee Grosklos 75 of Marietta passed away at 4:26 a.m. Friday October 29th 2021 at WVU Medicine in Parkersburg due to Covid.
    She was born January 30th 1946 in Clarksburg, WV. She is survived by her daughter Angel Grosklos and her granddaughter Heidi and her great granddaughter Madison Rose of Marietta. She is also survived by her brothers, Joe (Dee) Spinks of Orrville, Ohio and Blaine (Pamela) Nicholas of Pullman, WV.
