Steven L. Cooper of Fleming, Ohio died on June 5, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital with family at his side. Steven was born in Marietta Ohio on August 5, 1954 to Roy and Marjorie Cooper.

Steve graduated from Marietta High School in 1972 and attended Marietta College. Following several years of working construction, Steve became employed at Marietta Memorial Hospital and continued his education to become a respiratory therapist. Prior to a brief illness Steve lived life to its fullest. He always dreamed of sailing the world. He loved his music and his pets. His golden doodle, Lilly was always by his side.

Steven married Patricia (Patty) Boreman April 23, 1988 they had good times together; they were always up to some kind of mischief and orneriness. There was “logic” and then there was “Steven Logic”.

Steven is survived by two stepdaughters, Teri (Brant) Magers of Marietta and Teresa Bryan of Marietta. Grandchildren Nathan Bryan of Marietta, Austin Magers of Marietta and Adam (Jasmine) Bryan of Marietta and great-grandchild Atlas Bryan. Sister, Laura (Jonathan) Hall of Williamstown, WV. Nephews,  Nate (Erin) Hall of Waverly, WV and Eric (Kayla) Hall of Williamstown, WV, Adam Cooper of Las Vegas NV, and a niece Shelby Campbell of Portland, OR, and 5 great nieces and nephews. Also survived by Aunt Freda Huck of Marietta and many cousins.

Steven was proceeded in death by the love of his life, Patty. His mother and father, Roy and Marjorie Cooper, Sister Donna Jean and Brother Frank. Also, many aunts and uncles.

Graveside service will be Saturday, June 15th @ 11am at the Barlow Cemetery, Barlow Ohio with a Celebration of Stevens life to follow at the Barlow Community Methodist Church, all are welcome.
