Theodore “Ted” Lee DeWitt, Jr.
Theodore “Ted” Lee DeWitt, Jr., 70, of Marietta passed away at 11:20 am, Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Ted was born on June 16, 1954, in Marietta a son of Theodore L. DeWitt, Sr. and Ruth A. White DeWitt. He was a member of the Basilica of St. Mary of The Assumption.
He is survived by 2 daughters and one son: Nicole (Josh) Zimmer of Whipple, Christy (Josh) Gerken of Whipple and Eric (Carly) DeWitt of Marietta; grandchildren: Madi, Maci and Hudson Zimmer, Braelyn and Ethan Gerken and Paisley Dewitt. He is also survived by his 3 sisters, Diane, Debbie and Donna and his brother, Terry, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Craig.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (Sept. 30) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends before the service from 9:00 until 11:00. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
