Ruby Lee Beaver

Ruby Lee Beaver, 88, of Lowell passed away at 8:15 pm, Monday, May 23, 2016. She was born September 19, 1927, in Longview, Texas, a daughter of Robert and Alice Coons Jones. She was a homemaker.

On November 2, 1944, she married George L. Beaver who preceded her in death on February 27, 1983.

Ruby is survived by one son and five daughters: Palva Lee (Dale) Farnsworth, Richard L. (Judy A.) Beaver, Norita Lee (John) Barton all of Marietta, Edith Zink of Lowell, Kathy L. (Samuel Verdell) Stille of Lower Salem and Alice (Brian) Dougherty of Katy, Texas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Amy Jeffers, step-daughter Diana Pugh, 3 grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (May 27) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends on Friday before the service from 9:00am. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
