Rebecca L. Schafer Zink
Rebecca L. Schafer Zink, 63, of Marietta passed away May 25, 2016, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born October 27, 1952, in Marietta daughter of Ernest R. and Anna Louise Hupp Schafer.
She was a graduate of Marietta High School Class of 1971 and had been a hairdresser by profession until her illness. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother and will be missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her son Christopher W. McCabe and his wife Jennifer; 3 grandchildren: Max, Bree and Tyler; brothers James Schafer and wife Alice and David Schafer and wife Sarah; 3 sisters: Jeretta and husband Charles, Sue Schafer and Donna Schafer, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, June 11, at 3:00 pm, at the home of David and Sarah Schafer.
