Denice L. (Curtis) Kelley

Denice L. (Curtis) Kelley, of Columbus, wife, mother, daughter and sister was called home to be with her heavenly Father at the age of 60, on Thursday, January 25, 2018, after her long term battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She was born on October 8, 1957, in Marietta to her loving mother Lorena Kimbrough and preceded in death by her father.

She will be forever remembered by her husband and best friend Michael, her mother Lorena Kimbrough, and her caring children: Tanya (Steve) Smith, Sanya Kelley, Michael Kelley II, Tony Kelley; her brothers and sisters: Devonne, Danita, Deane (brandy), Doug (Becky), Edwin, Jr. (Crystal) and Kristen (Harvey.) She will also be forever remembered by her grandchildren: Paul, Tye and Taniya Oates, Steven Smith, Jr., Brooklyn Denice Kelley, Mariah, Josiah and Hezekiah Kelley, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, special friend Mark Dunn and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father Edwin Kimbrough, Sr.

She was a graduate of Marion Franklin High School and Career Community College. She was a devoted and dedicated stay at home wife and mother. At a young age, she gave her life to Christ. She will be remembered for her generosity, humorous personality, love of music and dancing and her retail therapy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 31st, at 1:00 pm at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Chris Longgrear officiating. Interment will follow in East Lawn Memorial Park.
