Richard L. Binegar

Richard L. Binegar, 79, of Marietta passed away at 8:25 pm, Monday, January 22, 2018, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 10, 1938, in Washington County, Ohio, to Elmer and Marjorie Lane Binegar. Dick was a member of Painters Local 93 and later Local 1144.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Thompson Binegar; daughter Debra (John) Muntz of Marietta, grandson Timothy Muntz of Marietta; brother Dale Binegar of Ocala, FL, and sister Ora Jean Tilton of Lowell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers: Delbert, James, Donald and David Binegar; and 2 sisters: Juanita Nesbitt and Corrine Mendenhall.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Marietta for their care and concern for Dick.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (Jan. 26) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Calvert officiating. Interment will following in Tunnel Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 until 8 pm and on Friday one hour before the service. Messages of sympathy may be sent the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
