Loucinda “Eleanor” Barnes
Loucinda “Eleanor” Barnes, 90, of Marietta passed away at 10:08 am, Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born October 6, 1927, in Lowell to William Jennings and Helen Bogard Perry.
On October 11, 1947, Eleanor married Roy Barnes who survives with 2 sons and 2 daughters: Dolores Scott of Jacksonville, FL, Margaret Williams of Marietta, James (Deana) Barnes of Vale, NC, Clifford (Lori) Barnes of Marietta; daughter-in-law Cheryl Barnes of Marietta, 12 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Polly (Arthur) Goss of San Antonio, TX and brother-in-law, Arthur “Skip” Komorowski of Cleveland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Roy Deane Barnes, sisters, Linnie Komorowski, Katie Roberts, and brothers, Lawrence and Raymond Perry, and brother-in-law Jack Roberts.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday (March 30) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lowell.
