Betty Lou Wright

Betty Lou Wright, 80, of Beverly passed away at 7:58 pm, Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born January 22, 1938, in Williamstown, WV, to James T. McGuire and Gwendolyn Hoselton McGuire.

Betty Lou was a homemaker and a member of Beverly Baptist Church. She loved her family and was an accomplished artist.

She married John Wright 61 years ago and he survives with 2 sons and 1 daughter, John (Pam) Wright of Canton, OH, Edward (Kari) Wright of Marietta, Sandra (Alan) Voss of Clearwater, FL; 9 grandchildren: Jeremy Wright, Amanda Wright, Eric Wright, Valerie Wright, Holly Kobe, Keith Wright, Tilly and Ava Wright, Ryan Voss and 6 great grandchildren. Her sister Sue Barnhart also survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Susan Wright; 4 brothers: Jay W., James T., Max, and Orville McGuire; 2 sisters: Mary Helen Wright and Loleta McKenna.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday (June 15) at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Valley Cemetery.
