Cheryl J. Scott

Cheryl J. Scott, 58, of Marietta passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Marietta Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family after a brave fight against cancer. She was born on July 5, 1960.
She enjoyed playing sports and loved animals, especially her beloved Misty, Boots, MJ and Grey. She was employed at Mar-Pak for 26 years as an inside sales representative.

Cheryl is survived by her parents Pearl M. Scott and Virginia I. Wallace, her daughter Samantha (Andrew) Peck, grandson William Peck, sisters Kathy P. Hayes and Kimberly (John) Rea both of Marietta; 2 nieces, Shannon (Alvin) Curran of Belpre and Jessica Hayes of Vincent; 3 great nieces: Julian Curran, Jaelyn and Kinley Pickrell and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hazel and Edward Scott and Virgil and Betsy Stanley and several aunts and uncles.

Calling hour will be at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 until 12:00 pm. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.

In lieu of flowers, Cheryl requested donations be made to Mid-Ohio Valley Humane Society.
