Judith R. Dennis

Judith R. Dennis, 77, of Waterford passed away 7:16 am Thursday, November 1, 2018, surround by her family. She was born September 30, 1941 in Marietta to Finis and Viola Emma (Johnson) Harrell. She was a member of the 9 Mile Methodist Church in St. Marys and her grandfather wrote the hymn “Let Me Tarry Awhile at Calvary”. She married Charles R. Dennis who preceded her in death on April 10, 2013.

She is survived by her children Scott Lent (Alicia) of Waterford and Sheila Wright (Kenny) of Marietta, grandchildren Scott Lent, Jr., Andrew Tidd (Keith), Hollianne Lent (Fiancé Adam), Kariannf Brooks (Nate), and Kenny Wright Jr. Also surviving is a great granddaughter Sophie Lent and step great grandchildren Aden and Charlotte Brooks and sisters Carol Boley and Betty.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by brothers William and Frank Johnson, a sister Ruby Ann Schneberger and granddaughter-in-law Jennifer.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 6th at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Shauna Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in Muskingum Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
