Ruby Addis McKee

Ruby Addis McKee, 101, of Lowell passed away peacefully Saturday, December 1, 2018, at Harmar Place. She was born October 6, 1917, in Macksburg, OH to Henry and Bertha Eagler Addis.

She graduated from Macksburg High School where she was active in basketball. She was a Christian by faith and a member of Wagner Union Church. Ruby was a member of Eastern Star.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Judy Dimit (W. Lorn) of Lowell and Joyce West (Kenneth) of Newport. Four grandchildren: Lisa Lutender (Scott) of Manassas, VA, Lorna Ritchie of Marietta, Matthew West (Paige) of St. Marys, WV and Kendra Berga (Brad) of St. Marys WV and several nieces and nephews.

Ten great grandchildren: Craig and Kyle Lutender, David and Kevin Ritchie, Kenzie, Broden and Cohen West and Landon, Brody and Fischer Berga.

She married David L. McKee on June 11, 1938. He preceded her in death on February 12, 1993. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Ruth Addis Smith and Betty Addis and brother Ken Addis.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Dec. 5) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Ferrell officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Ridge Cemetery.
