Katherine Henrie Treadway

Katherine Louise Henrie Treadway, 86, of Fleming passed away at 5:05 pm, Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at Heartland of Marietta. She was born January 21, 1932 in Wood County, WV, to James and Violet Bayles Henrie.

She was a graduate of Williamstown High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, cooking, quilting, reading and her cats.

On March 4, 1955, she married Earl Treadway who survives with 2 sons, Alan (Melissa) Treadway of Marietta and Brian (Vicky) Treadway of Little Hocking, daughter-in-law Brenda Muntz, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Four sisters also survive: Frances (David) Conroy, Helen Bennett, Linda Henrie, Dorothy Bradford and 2 sisters-in-law, Anna (Ralph) Henrie and Pat (William) Henrie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son Earl Treadway, Jr., great grandson Zachery, brothers: Hubert, Dan, Harold, Gene, Ralph, Bill and John Henrie; and sisters, Garnet Kerns, Evelyn Treadway and Mary Smith.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday (Jan. 19) at 10:30 am, at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Tunnel Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
