Albert E Hill Sr

Albert E. Hill, Sr., 85, of Waterford on January 26, 2019 fulfilled his statement, “Thanks to Calvary, I don’t live here anymore.”

He was born September 15, 1933 in Washington County, Ohio, to Clifton and Wanda Becker Hill.

Albert was a veteran of U. S. Air Force. He was a farmer and also employed by Ford Brothers as a truck driver and later a bus driver for Wolf Creek Schools for 27 years. He was a member of Chesterhill Church of the Nazarene where he was a Sunday school teacher. He was a former trustee for Palmer Township.

On August 1, 1954, he married Donna Bonnette who survives with 4 sons and 3 daughters: Albert “Eugene” (Karen) Hill, Jr. of Waterford, Gale (Christine) Hill of Lowell, Dale (Susan) Hill of Waterford, Allan (Karen) Hill of Waterford, Lila (Tim) Rankin of Waterford, Beth Hill of Waterford and Candy Hill of Waterford, 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers, Gerald Hill and Jerry Hill and sisters, Virginia Matheny and Erma Jean Blume and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Marjorie Ellen Hill, brother Ronald Hill and sisters, Eloise Ragan and May Kloes.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday (Jan. 31) at 11:00 am at Marietta First Church of the Nazarene with interment following in Valley Cemetery with full military honors.
