Eloise M. Noland

Eloise M. Noland, 91, of Newport went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 25, 2019, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born August 29, 1927, in Bear Run a daughter of Oscar and Mary Ann “Annie” Martin Rutherford.

Eloise was a member of the Twin Rivers Baptist Church. She loved music and was an especially loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

On February 19, 1945, she married Randall V. Noland who preceded her in death on July 11, 1984. She is survived by her son, Randy (Frances) Noland of Belpre and her daughter, Chris (Carl) Middleswart of Marietta; seven grandchildren: Tracey (Calvin) Huck of Waterford, Troy (Teressa) Noland of St. Marys, WV, Jamey (Steve) Erb of Stockport, Mindy (Scott) Ondera of Troy, MariAnne (Dave) Benson of Belpre, Jason (Shavonna) Noland of The Colony, TX, Whitney Noland of Zanesville; 14 great grandchildren: Tyler (Hannah) Smith, Isaac and Wyatt Erb, Gabby (Brandon) Baxter, David Noland, Aiden Noland, Rachel, Emmitt and Owen Ondera, Grace Benson and Luke, Noah, Bryce and Lydia Bowman.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings: Vergie King, Marjorie Hearn, Evelyn Haught, Audrey Hill, Betty Bush, Leslie Rutherford, Wilson Rutherford, Boyd Rutherford, Oscar Rutherford, Jr. and special nephew Gary Rutherford.

Funeral services will be held on Monday (April 29) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with interment following in Newport Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.Lankfordfh.com.
