Travis J. Cox
Travis J. Cox, 45, of Marietta, Passed away 3:44 pm, Monday, April 29, 2019 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 1, 1973 at Marietta to John Cox and Ila Tice Cox both of Marietta. He was a Marietta High School graduate and was a proud member of IBEW Local 972. Travis enjoyed four-wheeling, taking his dog swimming in Duck Creek and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns. Travis and his dad John were best friends.
In addition to his parents, Travis is survived by a brother Matt Cox (Carla), grandmother Ruth Cox, a special niece Cayley Cox, and Sheena, Tasha, Robbie all of Marietta, his extended family and his dog Tank.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Friday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mound Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
