Leah Wunderlich Grimm

Leah Wunderlich Grimm, 100, of Marietta, Ohio, went to her Heavenly Home March 24, 2025.
Leah was born May 12, 1924, at Warner, Ohio, to Herman W. and Viola Wagner Wunderlich. She graduated from Salem Liberty High School in 1942. Among other employment, she worked for the law firm of Theisen, Brock, Frye and Leeper for around 25 years. She was active in the Coast Guard Auxiliary and helped with water safety programs in schools in the area. Other organizations she belonged to included AARP, and was active in their Tax-Aide Program; Washington County RSV and Marietta Senior Club. She was a member of the Tunnel United Methodist Church, the Fellowship Sunday School Class and served on many committees.
On November 16, 1946, she married John W. Scott, deceased. Surviving from this marriage are one daughter, Cheryl Danielle Scott Noah (Fred Boston) of Fleming, two granddaughters: Lori Noah Isue and her husband David of Colorado Springs, CO; Juli Noah Blaney and her husband Jason of Vincent; one great-grandson Jacob David Isue and two great-granddaughters Abigail Marie Blaney and Samantha Dawn Blaney.
On July 10, 1964, she married Wendell Grimm, deceased. Surviving are his daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Grimm of Nashport, OH, two grandsons, Seth Grimm (Miley) of Virginia and Chase Grimm (Mary) of Tennessee. One daughter Gloria Gibney of Guilford, CT., grandsons Geoffrey Gibney of MD, Gregory Gibney of CT and granddaughter Lisa Gibney Fredette of NH. Great grandsons: Colt and Coen Grimm, Carter Gibney, and Jackson Fredette, Great granddaughters Hadley Grimm and Emmeline Fredette.
She is also survived by nephews Bruce Wunderlich (Susan), Mark Wunderlich (MaryBeth), and Charles Wunderlich (DeAnna); and niece Carol Wunderlich Minnochi (Ron).
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Glenda Wunderlich, brothers Herman and Charles Wunderlich, son Ernest Grimm, and son-in-law Jim Noah.
As per her wishes, there is no visitation. A private family service will be held. Burial will be at East Lawn Memorial Park. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
