Denzel Gail Rinard

Denzel Gail Rinard, 96, of Rinard Mills passed away at 10:55 am on Friday, March 9, 2012, at Carehaven of Belmont.

He was born on September 20, 1915, at Weddle Place, Jericho, Ohio, to the late Forest and Lula Cline Rinard.  Denzel graduated Ludlow Rural High School, Class of 1934 and was a member of the Mt. Vernon Christian Union Church.  He was a farmer, oil well field worker, Ludlow Township Trustee and Williamstown Steel.  He enjoyed hunting, trapping and caring for others.

On August 9, 1941, he married Mabel Dillon who preceded him in death on June 14, 2003.

Denzel is survived by children:  Edward (Lamyra)Rinard of Rinard Mills, Ken (Donna) Rinard of Clyde, OH, daughter-in-law Pam Rinard of Marietta, Roger (Beverly) Rinard of Rinard Mills, Loren (Tammie) Rinard of Newport; grandchildren:  Jacqueline (Tom) Gilkeson, Michael (Julie) Rinard, Eric (Tiffany) Rinard, Dwayne (Carolyn) Rinard, Becky (Bryan) Liskai, Tara (Bo) Meagle, Misty (Jason) King, Chad (Danielle) Rinard, Heather (Seth) Sivard, Jason (Elysia) Rinard, Lauren (Adam) Smith, Amy Rinard; great grandchildren:  Wesley and Whitney Gilkeson, Nathan ( Jessica) Rinard, Jordan Rinard, Isabella, Grace and Ethan Rinard, Jessica and Christopher Rinard, Dillon and Cora Liskai, McKenzi Hall, Dillon Meagle, Emma King, Maybree, Olivia and Colten Rinard, Alexis, Gavin and Makayla Sivard, Ezekiel, Zerik and Izak Rinard.

He was preceded in death by his son Gary Rinard.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (March 13) at 11:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Pringle officiating.  Burial will follow at New Matamoras Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday afternoon beginning at 2:00.
