Ronald Dean Kendall

Ronald Dean Kendall, 77, of Marietta passed away at 2:10pm, Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born August 22, 1949 in Monroe County, Ohio, to Earl and Virginia (Holshu) Kendall.

He graduated from Skyvue High School where he was President of FFA for 4 years. Ronald was co-owner and operator of Marietta Food Center and retired from Conn’s Potato Chips where he was a Route salesman. He was a fan of OSU Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

On November 27, 1970, he married Sandra Neville who survives with his son Robert (Jill) Kendall of Marietta; brothers, Michael (Vicki) Kendall of Lower Salem and Terry (Barbara) Kendall of Wingett Run; 2 grandchildren, Alex and Averi, sister-in-law Janet Weppler of Marietta and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Marietta Memorial Nurses and Amedysis Hospice, especially Erika, Terry and Barbara Kendall and his 4 neighbors, Jessica, Candice, Olivia and Kent.

Funeral services will be held on Friday (Oct. 2) at 11:00 am at McClure Schafer Lankford Funeral Home with burial following in East Lawn Memorial Park. Family will greet friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
