  • Robert M. “Bob” Coil

Robert M. “Bob” Coil, 81, passed away early Sunday morning September 8, 2024, due to complications from a fall on August 5.

He attended Ohio University, and then served in the US Army in the AG corps from 1962-1964. Near the end of his two years in Geneva, he was loaned out to be an Army stenographer to the State Department during the 1964 Geneva Nuclear Disarmament talks. It depended on the day as to whether he was prouder of that service or running a 4:47 mile in combat boots during his basic training.
