Glenda Pauline Brown
November 22, 1930 – April 1, 2023
Glenda Pauline Brown 92, of Lowell, Ohio passed away Saturday April 1, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born near Rinard Mills, Ohio on November 22, 1930 a daughter of the late Marvin and Hattie Holland Gardner.
She enjoyed quilting and being with family and friends. She especially enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved her faithful companion, her dog Daisy.
On March 30, 2023, our dad, John Junior Merrow went to be with the Lord Jesus. He was born April 22, 1928 in Stark County, Ohio to John and Bertha (Nieb) Merrow.
He was a WWII Navy Sea Bee and was on the water to Japan when the war ended. He spent several months in Sasebo, Japan before returning to Marietta, OH. There he met the love of his life and married our mother Bette (Clegg) Merrow on November 4, 1950. For 38 years, he worked at Eramet, and retired in 1989.
Henry L. Antill, 69, of Belpre passed away at 5:25pm, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born June 6, 1953 in Marietta a son of the late Henry and Dorothy Mugrage Antill.
Edward “Eddie” J. Thompson, Jr., 39, of Marietta, went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2023. He was born to Edward and Lisa Thompson, Sr. on September 29, 1983.
Eddie is survived by his mother, Lisa (Charles) Wilfong, his son Owen Thompson, his fiancé Sabine Killoran, sisters Mary (Skip) Spicer and Rachel (Cruz Horner) Thompson and step-brothers Wayne (Teri) Wilfong and Randy Wilfong. Also surviving are nieces Haven (Jamie) Frend, Tru Weppler, Jorja Weppler and Emma Horner.
Andrew G. Benson
May 9, 1966-March 22, 2023
On Wednesday, March 22, 2023, Andrew George Benson passed away at age 56. He was born May 9, 1966, in Flint, MI, son of Andrew C and Ann C (Gollinger) Benson.
Larry Byers, 80, of Newport, Ohio, passed away peacefully from complications of Parkinson’s disease Tuesday morning, March 21, 2023, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born November 10, 1942, in Port Clinton, Ohio to Harris (Bud) and Margaret (Peg) Byers of Trail Run, Ohio in Monroe County. He attended Brownsville Grade School and graduated from River High School in 1960. Larry retired as an electrician from Ormet Corporation after 40 years, and was also employed by Benton Township. He was a current member of the Newport Church of Christ and previously a long-time resident of Brownsville, Ohio and a member of the Brownsville Church of Christ.
Barbara Ann Flesher

Barbara Ann Baker Wriston Flesher, 70, went to be with the Lord and her heavenly family on March 21, 2023, at 2:22 pm at Heartland in Marietta.
The family’s rock, friend and greatest blessing was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Selma Baker and her husband John Flesher.
