    Ronald E. Blair, 73, of Lower Salem passed away at 1:17am, Monday, September 18, 2023, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born in Washington County, OH, on April 7, 1950, son of Daniel and Loretta Jenkins Blair.
    Ronnie was a veteran of the Marine Corps (Vietnam), a member of the Moose Lodge and the VFW. He was self employed in the logging industry.

    Garravine Lucille Ice, 84, of Marietta passed away at 2:15 am, Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Legacy of Marietta.
    Garravine was born May 11, 1939, in Marietta a daughter of Lawrence J. “Skeet” Wheeler and Hazel Walters Wheeler. She retired from Marietta College where she worked in Food Service.

  • Neil R. Gregory

    Neil R. Gregory, 81, of Marietta passed away at 9:14am, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at his home with his sons by his side. He was born in Marietta on August 25, 1942, son of the late Albert and Hilda Spindler Gregory.
    Neil graduated Marietta High School in 1961 and retired from Cytec Willow Island after 40 years of service. He was a member of Gilman United Methodist Church, Marietta High School Athletic Hall of Fame where he earned All-Ohio in 1960 and was on the 1959 undefeated Football Team. He was also a member of Boy Scout Troop #203 with a 50 year pin, Silver Beaver, Vigil Honor, was a member of Lowell Lodge #436 F & AM, Aladdin Shrine, Scottish Rite, past President Marietta Shrine, past member of Marietta Jaycee’s, Civitian, Reno Lions (Melvin Jones Award), Marietta Athletic and Band Boosters, Reno UFD and helped couch Reno Warriors and 7th grade football.

    Chester D. Sims, 86, of Marietta passed away at 7:52 pm, Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born June 10, 1937 in Slate, WV to the late Frank and Bertha E. Sims.
    He attended the Salvation Army and had been employed at Fenton Art Glass.

  • Robert G. “Bob” Ullman

    Robert G. “Bob” Ullman, 93, of Marietta passed away at 4:49 pm, Wednesday, September 13, 2023. He was born in Lowell, OH, on June 8, 1930, a son of Gilbert and Minnie B. Lee Ullman.
    Bob was a member of the Carpenters Local 356 for 40 years. He was a 50 year member of the Loyal Order of the Moose #1823, served in the Ohio State Guard, drafted in the Army in 1951 during the Korean Conflict where he served in Germany and worked as a Morse Code Operator. Bob was a huge fan and supporter of Marietta College Pioneer Baseball and a fan of OSU Football. He loved traveling and his hobby was woodworking.

  • Robert Everett Emerick

    Robert Everett Emerick, 90, of Marietta passed away peacefully to be home with the Lord September 2, 2023. Born November 24, 1932, to the late Charles and Ruth (McCullough) Emerick.
    Bob was a graduate of Bloomfield High School in 1952. Remembered fondly by his friend Ward for scoring 36 points in one basketball game. He previously attended Muskingum Valley Baptist Church. He was a veteran serving in the Korean War and retired from the maintenance department at Fenton Art Glass.

    Ronald White Jr., 21, of Marietta left this world on Saturday, September 2, 2023 leaving behind his father, Ronald White Sr., of St. Marys, WV and mother, Jenny Robinson of Marietta OH. Also leaving behind Uncles and Aunts: Betty Beaver and Becky Colvin of Marietta, Richard and Angie Colvin, Sandy Price all of St. Marys, WV and several cousins and friends.
    Ronnie enjoyed on-line gaming, playing with cousins, making people laugh, cheering others up, he enjoyed working at Giant Eagle.
