    V. Leverne Corathers Tenney died January 23, 2022. She was born July 27, 1931 in Buckhannon, WV.
    On July 15, 1956, Leverne married Elvin Gray Tenney who preceded her in death. Leverne was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and belonged to the Suzanne Circle. She was also a Girl Scout Leader.

    Ramona M. McConkey, 86, of Marietta passed away at 2:05 pm, Sunday, January 23, 2022, at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born May 12, 1935, in Wadsworth, OH, a daughter of Ernest Heavilon and Marian Baldwin Heavilon.
    Mona was a volunteer at Marietta Memorial Hospital in the ER and was a member of First Baptist Church and Marietta Welfare League.

    Earl Gustuv Kehl, 81, of Marietta passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022. He was born on July 10, 1940, in Marietta a son of the late Howard G. Kehl and Annabelle Mitchel Kehl.
    Earl was a graduate of Marietta High School, Class of 1958, Marietta College and Case Western Reserve University. He served in the U. S. Navy on the Air Craft Carrier USS Bon Homme Richard and retired from F. M. Global.

  • Carl William Berg

    Carl William Berg of Whipple passed away on his 87th birthday at his home surrounded by his family.
    He was born January 16, 1935, to Reinhold and Laura Zimmer Berg. He attended Stanleyville School and Marietta High School, until age of 16, at which time he quit school to help run the family farm when his father passed Throughout the years, Carl, not only farmed, he also worked in the oil fields, timbered and ran equipment for Liberty Township.

  • Delores W. “Dee” Carver

    Delores lost her battle with dementia and covid on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 5:20 pm at Marietta Memorial Hospital with daughters by her side, after living with her eldest daughter for over a year.
    Delores was born in Booth WV in 1929 to Walter and Rose Shingleton. She stayed there after her fathers death, with her mother and sisters till her teen years, then moving to Akron,Ohio. Married William Carver in 1951, and had 4 daughters from that marriage.
    Upon retirement and due to her husbands health, they moved to Marietta,Ohio as it was a favorite of both of them in 1989. William passed away in 1991, Delores went back to work, and worked at Shoneys and Ames until a second retirement.
