Delcia J. Lacy
Delcia J. Lacy, 98, of Williamstown, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011. She was born on April 5, 1913, in Reedy, WV, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Taylor Eaton.
She was a graduate of Williamstown High School and a long time member of the Presbyterian Church, Lions Club and Eastern Star. She retired from the Wood County School system where she had been employed at W.H.S. for 28 years as a secretary.
She was preceded in death by M. Stanley Lacy, her husband of 72 years and her twin sister, Delphia Lucas of Nacogdoches, TX.
She is survived by a niece, Lorraine Garner of Houston, TX and nephews, Stanley Lucas of St. Marys, WV, Thomas Lucas of Nacogdoches, TX and Charles Lucas III of Galax, VA.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (August 23) at 10:00 am at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home in Marietta with Pastor Ken Calebaugh officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Williamstown. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 until 8.
