Garnet M. Hose
Garnet M. Hose, 83, of Marietta passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017, at 8:15 am at Harmar Place. She was born December 16, 1933, in Lowell to John F. and Glenna C. Bogard Schau.
Garnet was a member of Norwood United Methodist Church, VFW Auxiliary, Y’s Men and Farm Bureau Council. She graduated from Lowell High School, Class of 1953. She loved Bingo, playing cards, camping, fishing and cooking.
On December 30, 1955, she married Duane William Hose who preceded her in death on December 2, 2000. Garnet is survived by 2 sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews and 2 special friends, Julia and Lenora and cousins, Eleanor and Polly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Betty Casto and 5 brothers: Lester, Kelly, John, Cecil and Harold Schau and niece Raomi Morris.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (Feb, 21) at 10:30am at Norwood United Methodist Church with burial in Green Lawn Cemetery in Lowell. Friends may call at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8. Messages of sympathy may be sent at www.Lankfordfh.com.
